Here's how to send a voice message on your iPhone:
Using the Messages app: The most common way to send voice messages is directly through the built-in Messages app.
Settings for Voice Messages: You can change the settings for voice messages in the Settings app. Go to Settings > Messages. Under "Audio Messages," you can choose when the voice messages expire. By default, they expire after 2 minutes to save storage space. You can change it to Never, so they are saved indefinitely.
Raise to Listen: The Messages app has a "Raise to Listen" feature. With this setting on, raising your phone to your ear while in a message thread will play the most recently received audio message.
Troubleshooting: If you are having trouble sending voice messages make sure your microphone is not blocked or covered. Check in settings > Privacy > Microphone that Messages has microphone access.
